Q: Do I need a phone line for the alarm to be monitored?

A: If you do not have a standard "land line" in your home, you can use Sentinel Interactive or one of our cellular modems to communicate wirelessly to our central monitoring station.

 

Q: What if I have VOIP phone service?

A: Our systems can use VOIP telephone service. If you are an existing customer switching to VOIP service, we recommend that you have the system tested while the technician from the VOIP service is still there so we can check the system for proper communication.

 

Q: Can I set up automatic payments?

A: Yes. Not only is it more convenient for you, going paperless helps the environment!

 

Q: What if I accidently set off my alarm?

A: The number you gave us to call in case of an alarm will ring, then give the operator your challenge password.

 

Q: Do you monitor sump pumps?

A: Yes. A water level sensor will need to be installed in your sump pit.

 

Q: Can I operate my alarm system remotely from my smart phone?

A: Yes. Our systems can be operated with a web enabled smart phone, using our Sentinel Interactive service. There are also special apps available for iPhone, Android and Blackberry phones.

 

Q: Can I view my security cameras from my phone or laptop?

A: Yes. Our cameras can be viewed from your web enabled smart phone or from your laptop, using our Sentinel Interactive service any where you can access the Internet!

 

Q: Can I be notified when the kids come home from school?

A: Yes, with Sentinel Interactive service you can receive a text message when they come home.

 

Q: I have a pet; can I still have a motion detector?

A: Yes, a special pet friendly detector is available.

 

Q: Will I receive a discount on my homeowners insurance?

A: Most insurance companies will give up to a 20% discount with our UL Monitored security system.

 

Q: Is outdoor protection available?

A: Yes. Please consult with one of our security professionals to determine the best solution.    

                                                               

Q: Is there something better for less available?

A: No. Our basic system starts out at $0 plus activation. We are not aware of any legitimate company that does what we can for less!
